ANA PALACIO, visual artist and independent curator. Graduated from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Art, with a postgraduate degree in painting. I am especially interested in the environment, climate change, and endangered species.

Migration and the environmental impact of urban development are the themes I am most interested in developing, both in my own projects and those of other artists.

Living in Argentine Patagonia, I have witnessed how indiscriminate and unplanned expansion affects the lives of species not only in cities but also in national parks. I believe that art should also contribute to education and awareness about what it means to care for the environment.

Viviendo en la Patagonia Argentina soy testigo de cómo el avance indiscriminado y sin planeamiento afecta la vida de las especies no solo en las ciudades sino también en los parques nacionales. Considero que también el arte debe contribuir a la educación y concientización de lo que significa cuidar el medio ambiente.
